adjusting focus: fine art approach + weddings | rod nasbe / photography
as a result of my continuing evolution and growth as a photographer, i’m adjusting my business focus in two ways – in general, recognizing the common thread of “fine art” approach in all my work and, more specifically, placing a new emphasis on wedding photography.
i consider myself an artist who uses digital photography and natural light to create elegant, compelling, emotion-filled images of unscripted moments in simple, natural settings.
i love to shoot weddings, landscape, and architecture. they all include the challenge of capturing the subject in constantly changing light; the opportunity to find, capture, and express emotion inherent in the subject; and the beauty of the final image as a work of art.
i look forward to accepting wedding bookings, providing artistic images that tell the story of the day with impact and emotion. i particularly appreciate the trend toward “casual elegance” in wedding themes and venues – backyards, vineyards, farms, barns, and look forward to creating art in such settings.
